Frequently asked questions.

Hopefully the below FAQs will answer any questions you have about Now Design but if there is anything else you would like to know please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I work as ‘remote’ freelance designer from my Nottingham based studio. I am available for meetings and also in-house projects when required. For each project I undertake I require a detailed brief to ensure both myself and the client have a clear understanding of what is required. Each project undertaken is tailored to your specific requirements.
Absolutely! This is something that is vital to the design process. All designs are shown from their initial concepts ensuring that all creative content answers the brief provided.
All final design files will be set up ready to print in either native Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop format or PDF dependant on your technical requirements. Any Pantone colours specified in your initial brief will be incorporated into the design file and clearly labelled on the artwork. All fonts will be outlined and any linked images will be provided separately to allow for further editing if required.
Keeping designs ‘legal’ is very important to me. I will advise, where possible, as to the best way to create original content that does not infringe on any existing copyright. Any third party images used in your designs will be bought using commercial use licences and all information will be provided to show the source. Any fonts used will either be ‘free for commercial use’ or bought using the correct usage licence. All designs remain the property of Now Design until final payment has been made.
This is something that is paramount to me and essential for creative work when working 6–12 months ahead. I will not share or discuss any work undertaken until it is made public be that online or in-store. I am also happy to discuss confidentiality agreements when required.
I do my utmost to get your designs ready on time and so greatly appreciate prompt payment once a project is completed! My payment terms are strictly 14 days and any payments made after this will be liable to a late payment surcharge charged at my discretion.
